CPD Events: Enhancing Dealer Expertise
In 2024, First Citizen Finance once again rolled out its successful Continuing Professional Development (CPD) series, reaching over 300 delegates from motor dealerships across Ireland. These sessions are designed to ensure that dealership staff stay up to date with the Central Bank of Ireland’s Minimum Competency Code, enabling them to provide Irish car buyers with the highest standard of financial advice.
By offering this training, First Citizen Finance plays a crucial role in ensuring that dealers are equipped with the knowledge necessary to guide consumers toward the best financial solutions for their vehicle purchases, whether they are new or used. This initiative will continue to be a key component of dealer engagement in 2025.
Drogheda Motor Show: A Milestone for Road Safety
The 14th Annual Drogheda Motor Show, held in October 2024, marked a significant step forward in the collaboration between local dealers and key organisations like the Road Safety Authority (RSA), An Garda Síochána, and SIMI. This year, a special 5-point Road Safety Charter was introduced, with Drogheda-based motor dealers collectively committing to a series of actions that prioritise road safety in their business practices.
This initiative underscores the commitment of Drogheda-based dealers to make road safety a central focus of their customer interactions and community outreach in 2025.
