It’s not clear what’s happening with the wider GWM Ora brand, as there was supposed to be at least one other model on the market already to join the ‘03’ (previously badged the Funky Cat), but things have gone all quiet. The GWM Ora 03 is, name and badging aside, unchanged from the Funky Cat that first launched in Ireland in 2023. It’s a likeable five-door hatchback with a choice of battery packs for an electric range of up to 420 kilometres. The problem with it is that it doesn’t do anything particularly better than myriad alternatives on the market from well-established marques. Shame, as we like how the 03 looks.
