Torres EVX

KGM’s second-ever EV is even more convincing than the Korando e-Motion that preceded it. Roomy, refined and with a modern design, the Torres EVX feels like a worthy rival to the likes of the Skoda Enyaq and Volkswagen ID.4, even if it lacks the same level of panache. But with lots of standard equipment, a decent range and plenty of interior space, the electric Torres represents solid value for electric car buyers willing to try something different.

Korando

Until the Torres came along, the Korando was perhaps KGM’s most compelling new car, what with its relatively handsome design, ample space and well-built cabin. It still displays all those traits, which allow it to compete as a well-priced alternative to the Skoda Karoq, Nissan Qashqai and SEAT Ateca. It may not have the beating of such competent rivals, but it is a deserving competitor – even if it is a slightly left-field one.

Musso

The Musso name is derived from the Korean word for rhinoceros, and the KGM pick-up truck lives up to that name with unflappable solidity and strength. It looks mean, in an American kind of way, and on paper it has all the same credentials as its main rivals, which include the Isuzu D-Max. It doesn’t feel that refined on the road, but it’s capable when the going gets tough, and it’s very well priced indeed.

Rexton

The flagship model in KGM’s range, the Rexton is a budget alternative to the Land Rover Discovery, offering seven seats, lots of technology and heaps of off-road ability. It’s a great tow car, too. Although it’s nowhere near as polished or refined as the Discovery, it comes with lots of standard equipment and a far more competitive price tag, and gives you just as much space for a fraction of the money.
